Interested in applying to graduate school? Don't miss this series of workshops designed to help undergraduates understand and get a head start on the graduate application process!

All workshops are BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) with light snacks and drinks provided. Participants who attend all three will be entered for a prize!

Preparing for Graduate School Part 1: Getting Started
Thursday, July 19th, 12-1:30pm
In this workshop, learn what the graduate school planning timeline looks like, how to search for programs, and if graduate school is right for you. We will also discuss strategies for finding the right program and funding opportunities.

Preparing for Graduate School Part 2: Personal Essays
Thursday, August 2, 12-1:30pm
A hands-on workshop on writing the statement of purpose / personal statements for graduate school and fellowship applications.

Preparing for Graduate School Part 3: Applying
Thursday, August 16th, 12-1:30pm
In this workshop, learn how best to prepare for the individual components of a graduate school application, including how to get great letters of recommendation and preparing a resume or CV. We will also discuss application timelines and strategies for those applying this fall.

This series is intended primarily for students considering research-based graduate programs. Students applying for graduate programs in health professions should contact Mary Beth Davis, Pre-Health Advisor, at med349@drexel.edu. Students interested in Pre-Law should contact Joanna Craig in the Steinbright Career Development Center at 215.895.2185.

Co-sponsored by the Center for Scholar Development and the Honors Program. You do not need to be in the honors program to attend.
