Event Description

Project One is a Drexel-grown startup (winner of the 2017 Drexel StartupFest competition) that's helping students overcome Calculus as an obstacle to STEM Careers. Too many freshman students drop out or switch majors simply because they go into Calculus with weak fundamentals in the pre-requisite subjects, or they aren't used to the academic rigor and pace of higher ed. This presentation breaks down the results of 2.5 years of research and testing of Project One's Calculus platform -- and presents the hope we have going forward in removing Calculus as an obstacle to any students collegiate journey.
