Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss knowledge of the patient population suitable for nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV)
  • Recognize the different modes of NIPPV
  • Prevent intubations in the population appropriate for NIPPV
