Event Description
Materials for Emerging Technologies is a two-day introductory course for incoming College of Engineering and School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems freshmen that covers a wide range of topics, providing a comprehensive overview of materials in engineering and society and how they will be important in the future. Hands-on laboratory sessions are integrated with lectures on bio- and nanotechnology, materials for energy production, sustainable materials, and more.
