Philly Art and Design Scavenger Hunt

Event Description
Please enjoy getting to know parts of the city of Philadelphia with our Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design inspired scavenger hunt! All clues will lead you to popular landmarks throughout Drexel Campus, University City Campus area (closer to 40th and Market), the Museum District ( Ben Franklin Parkway), Center City (22nd – 6th & Market) and Old City (6th – Front & Market). The clues are organized to start your search in center city and finish back on campus. There are multiple ways to get around the city to search.
  • Walking is always great. It will be a sunny, 81-degree day. A perfect day to walk and chat with new friends all over the city.
  • The Drexel Dragon Route Shuttle runs on a continuous loop from campus to center city Philadelphia starting at 7 a.m.
  • SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line  (MFL) has a train stop at 34th and Market and will take you to center city and old city as well. The cost is $2.50 each way and you must have exact change.
    • SEPTA also utilizes the SEPTA Key card where you can purchase a reusable card and load your fair on to the card with a debit or credit card for ease of travel.
 
Interaction is Key: Get to know your environment and have fun with new friends! Take photos with the art pieces if you can!
 
Include Yourself in the Photos: Take photos with the art pieces if you can! Be creative with your photos! Some are major Philly traditions! Feel free to post on your socials and tag @drexelwestphal. We may repost your photo on our page!
 
See Some Iconic Landmarks: Again, many of these landmarks are staples of the City of Philadelphia. ENJOY!
