Dornsife Center Baking Class

Event Description
The Dornsife Center Baking class, hosted by Drexel's Center for Food and Hospitality Management will explore the fundamentals of baking, utilizing freshly milled flour, and natural fermentation. Participants in the three-week course will learn about the science of baking, grains, and the different styles of bread. Participants will have the opportunity to taste different breads at the Dornsife Center as well as learn hands on techniques for producing breads in the bakery at the Center for Food and Hospitality. The first class will be held at the Dornsife Center on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The following two classes will be held on September 19 and 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Drexel’s Paul Peck Problem Solving and Research Building at 101 North 33rd St (Corner of 33rd & Arch Sts - entrance on 33rd Street side) on the 6th floor in room 614.
