Event Description Many fellowships and scholarships provide opportunities for undergraduates interested in public service to develop leadership skills, deepen their knowledge of relevant topics, build professional networks, and enter the pathway to a public service career. This session will provide an overview of awards open to undergraduate students pursuing careers in government, public policy, international affairs, non-profit organizations, research, or other sectors that advance the public good. Awards discussed include the Truman Scholarship; Pickering, Rangel, FAIT and Payne Fellowships for Foreign Service; Udall Scholarship, Boren Scholarship, Carnegie Gaither Junior Fellows, and Public Policy & International Affairs (PPIA) Fellowship.
