Academic Allyship: Reflections and
Recommendations

This panel includes a
professor, postdoctoral research fellow, and student who will discuss allyship
in the context of their experiences within higher education (e.g., classroom,
research, civic engagement). For this purpose, allyship is defined as taking
action in an effort to dismantle inequities. They will discuss varying degrees
of allyship, such as how they have experienced it, how they enacted it, or how
allyship has been missing from their space. Moderator: Mona Elgohail, PhD
