Safe Bars Philly Training for Culinary and Hospitality Students

Event Description
As hospitality industry professionals, it's possible we will see sexual harassment, or worse, happening at the restaurants, bars, casinos, and hotels where we work. In that case, would you know what to do to intervene?

Join WOAR - Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence and the Drexel Hospitality Society to deepen your awareness of sexual harassment and assault in alcohol serving establishments. Learn how to recognize sexual harassment behaviors and employ various tactics to intervene in a de-escalatory way. Find out how you can create an environment that does not tolerate sexual harassment but promotes the wellbeing and safety of both its guests and employees. You will leave with tangible skills in your toolkit to create safer, welcoming spaces.
