We hope to offer you a way to briefly un-plug from the uncertainty of the world and join Bienvenidos and the Black Faculty and Professional Staff Association for our Fall Cultural Cafecito.
There have been several progressive conversations at the University level regarding the racial injustices and civil unrest that are apart of our country’s past and unfortunately still apart of our present. Both of our organizations have come to the conclusion that what better way to contribute to these conversations than by celebrating our rich histories with mutual roots.
We invite you, our colleagues and friends, to join us on September 29th at 3:30pm to participate in this celebration of our beautiful cultures.
This hour will be dedicated to us all and allow for anyone to share their art, passion and creative outlet via this zoom session. This includes music, poetry, painting/ drawing, recipe sharing, etc. (you name it). Whether it is your own original work or something by another artist and has significant meaning to you, it is certainly welcomed. |
