Event Description
Natalie Nixon PhD changes lives through ideas.
She is a creativity strategist who happily integrates
wonder and rigor into her life and work. In her
new book, The Creativity Leap: Unleash
Curiosity, Improvisation and Intuition
at Work, she does something brilliant and
heretical—she declares that creativity is a teachable
phenomenon. She describes creativity as equal
parts structure and looseness, focus and
ambiguity, rules and no rules, daring
us to suggest that we all have it in us.
Natalie will be interviewed by Jacobie
Smith ’20, commencement speaker at the
2020 Westphal Graduation, on Thursday, October 15 at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
