Event Description
There are options and alternatives in the retail industry to manufacture responsibly.
In 2015, Mara Hoffman began learning and uncovering these possibilities
and chose to address, change and relay the shifts they were making. They know as they make improvements that they
will always encounter new challenges, and though this road is unending it will
forever offer room to change and grow.
The
aim at Mara Hoffman is to design and manufacture clothing with great care,
reduce their impact, and generate awareness.
“We ask you, our customer, to join us in taking action and holding us
accountable.”
On Monday, October 19, join Fashion Design professor Beth Quinn in welcoming Celine DeCarlo Vice President of People & Culture at Mara Hoffman. This lecture is part of the Sustainable Practice in Design virtual lecture series and open to Drexel University students. Email efs27@drexel.edu to receive the Zoom link. |
