Event Description

Chanette Armstrong is the Principal Deputy Director for the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E).  ARPA-E advances high-potential, high-impact energy technologies that are too early for private-sector investment. Ms. Armstrong will discuss the agency's mission, structure, and funding process.  Her remarks will include information on research investment areas, existing and upcoming funding opportunities, and the ARPA-E award process, as well as guidance on how universities can work with the agency.
