Event Description
Join us on Friday, December 1st for another seminar in our Fall Series! Guest lecturer Dr. Lata Venkatarangan will be visiting from DMPK, QPS LLC.

Abstract:
ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion) properties are crucial to determine if a New Chemical Entity (NCE) is a viable drug candidate. Different parameters such as pharmacokinetics profile, protein binding, tissue distribution, metabolism and elimination pathways need to be examined in order to provide a comprehensive picture of behavior of the NCE when dosed into a test pre-clinical species. The ultimate goal is to use the data from the pre-clinical species to determine if the NCE is safe and efficacious to test in humans.
We in the DMPK department at QPS, focus our efforts to helping answer these crucial questions for our Pharma and Biotech clients. From designing studies, to running experiments, to data interpretation, to submission ready study reports, we are a one-stop shop in helping navigate the drug development efforts for our clients.
