Event Description

Understanding the impact and responding to microaggressions is an important aspect of fostering an inclusive learning and work environment, where everyone feels welcome, respected, and empowered to thrive.

During this interactive session, we will explore the intent, context, and impact of microaggressions, and strategies participants can use when impacted. Activities will focus on developing participants’ skills for responding to microaggressions when they themselves may not be in a position of power.
