Event Description

Watch dancers bring to life the many animals and environments showcased throughout the Academy's dioramas, spanning North America, Asia and Africa.

Dancing Biodiversity was conceived by Westphal's Adjunct Dance Program Faculty Albert Quesada and Dance Program Director Blanca Huertas-Agnew.

The project engaged dance composition students to develop a series of live performances throughout the halls of the Academy's many dioramas. Performances are free with admission and suitable for all ages!

This collaboration with Drexel Dance is made possible through the Museum Innovation Fund, an initiative that provides funding to Drexel faculty and students for projects involving conception and rapid prototyping of innovative approaches to museum learning and engagement.

Dancing Biodiversity is free with admission.
