Learning Objectives

  • Discuss symptom similarities and differences for COVID, Flu, and RSV (seasonal triple threat)
  • Review current epidemiology (2022-23) for COVID, Flu, and RSV using St. Chris pediatric data
  • Describe changes in viral shedding, infectivity, and immune evasion of COVID Omicron subvariants compared to earlier COVID variants
  • Discuss the impact of recent Omicron XBB subvariants on the efficacy of the bivalent mRNA vaccine
