The Drexel Urban Health Collaborative is pleased to host our next invited speaker, Dr. Megan Todd, Chief Epidemiologist at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health. Dr. Todd will present Excess Mortality During the Pandemic: COVID-19 and Other Causes, and will be available to briefly answer questions after the talk.

About Our Speaker
Megan Todd, PhD is the Chief Epidemiologist at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, where her work focuses on population health, health policy, and translating scientific findings for policy and general audiences. She strives to better understand the biological, social, and economic factors that influence health and mortality, with the ultimate goal of eliminating sociodemographic disparities in health in Philadelphia. Prior to Chief Epidemiologist, Dr. Todd served at the health department as the Director of the Data Lab in the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention. Dr. Todd holds a PhD in Demography and Public Affairs from Princeton University and an AB in economics from Harvard University.
