Event Description
Professionally trained, Philadelphia native, Chef Jacquie of StrEATS of Philly Food Tours is a Michelin-guide recommended Philly food expert and food tour guide. Our two-hour tour will take place at Philly’s South 9th Street Italian Market and will include Italian and Mexican vendors and specialties. We will make fresh homemade tortillas, do a cheese tasting at De Bruno’s, an olive oil and vinegar tasting, visit a honey bar, do an art walk, check out a bakery and enjoy some delicious pizza in the nearby park. Please bring shopping money and a reusable bag if you plan to make purchases during the tour. Our group receives a 10% discount from vendors. Learn more here.
If you register for the tour, you will have two options regarding transportation. You may either meet us at the starting location in South Philly (details to be provided) or meet UGLaw Staff at the UGLaw Suite and take SEPTA together as a group. The UGLaw Suite is at 3401 Market Street, Suite 202. You’ll receive an email from UGLaw one week prior to the event to finalize your transportation plans.
