End Date: 7/1/2020End Time: 12:00 PM

Event Description
In this webinar hosted by SALURBAL, researchers Dr. Usama Bilal and Dr. Ana Ortigoza will present their research on urban adult and infant mortality in 11 Latin American countries, and how patterns of mortality are associated with other aspects of urban environments, including other aspects of social inequality.

A first step in achieving health equity in the cities of the Americas is understanding the causes and geographies of inequity. One way to understand inequity in health is to examine patterns of life expectancy and causes of death.
