Event Description

Join the Academy’s Ornithology team for a special event for members of the Leadership Circles of Giving to explore the beauties of avian biodiversity housed right here in the collections of the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Associate Curator of Ornithology Jason Weckstein, PhD and Collection Manager of Ornithology Nate Rice, PhD will take you on a virtual tour to view a special selection of extinct, endangered and (at least at one time) little-known birds within the Academy’s collection and hear stories of their remarkable and unique biology.
