Event Description
As new, incoming international graduate students prepare to begin their
graduate study at Drexel, the Graduate College is committed to helping
make the transition as smooth as possible.
The Graduate
College, in partnership with the International Graduate Student
Association (IGSA) and campus partners, host a series of
pre-arrival/pre-start webinars over the summer. The purpose of these
webinars is to help prepare newly admitted international graduate
students for graduate study in the US, arrival to and life in the US and
Philadelphia, and to answer any questions about life and graduate
education at Drexel.

The webinars will include:
-A comprehensive overview of Drexel from the Faculty Advisor of IGSA, Dr. Michael Ryan;
-A welcome from our the IGSA Executive Board Members;
-A
panel discussion comprised of current international graduate students,
faculty and professional staff members, including representatives from
International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) and Health Insurance
and Immunizations; and
-An interactive Question & Answer (Q&A) session about a wide range of topics concerning international students.
