Event Description

Harper's Magazine published a letter calling for open dialogues and debate. Signed by 150 popular figures like Margaret Atwood, Gloria Steinem, and Olivia Nuzzi. The letter has since been the subject of debate with some accusing the letter of lacking specificity and nuance, catering to egos, and ignoring the consequences those with smaller platforms speaking out against those who signed the letter. What is the line between accountability and canceling?
