  • Discuss the scope of the current opioid epidemic and its impact on health and healthcare
  • Describe the impact of COVID‐19 on patients with substance use disorders
  • Discuss the role of healthcare providers in the prevention, diagnosis and management of SUD’s/OUD’s during the COVID‐19 epidemic and beyond
  • Explain the chronic disease model of SUD’s
  • Identify patients who are high for substance use disorders and how to screen
  • Describe both acute and chronic management of opioid use disorders during COVID‐19
