On Saturday, November 1, at Citizens Bank Park, Drexel University College of Medicine will come together for the Philadelphia Heart Walk. This annual event allows us to connect as a community, raise awareness, and contribute to the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association.
Heart disease and stroke remain the leading causes of death in our region, but the AHA is working every day to change that. From supporting breakthrough research to expanding access to healthy foods and teaching more people lifesaving CPR, their efforts are making a measurable difference in Philadelphia and beyond.
We are proud to walk as Dragons and to show Drexel’s ongoing commitment to health, wellness, and community engagement. Every step we take represents support for healthier families, neighborhoods, and futures.
Here are ways you can participate:
- Register for the Drexel Health Team: Sign up here and walk with us at Citizens Bank Park.
- Shop or donate through our Heart Walk Store: Visit the store to purchase a Dragon beanie ($20.99), an official Heart Walk T-shirt ($14.99), or other items such as pins, wristbands, and cold/hot packs. You can also make a direct donation to the American Heart Association.
- Invite others to join: Friends, family, and colleagues are welcome to register, walk, or contribute.
