Join The Ubuntu Center and The Poor People's Campaign in conversation on the lasting impacts and lessons we can learn from social movements.

The Ubuntu Center on Racism, Global Movements & Population Health Equity at Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health will host its first virtual event: “Pain. Power. Possibilities. Lessons on Movements from Bishop William J. Barber II and The Poor People’s Campaign,”

Co-hosted by Repairers of the Breach, the event will feature Bishop Barber, co-Chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival in conversation with The Ubuntu Center Director, Sharrelle Barber, ScD, with opening remarks by Mindy Thompson Fullilove, MD, Professor of Urban Policy and Health at The New School.

Community members, students, faculty, staff and leaders are welcome to attend.
