Event Description

Christy Duré, MPH, MPA, Adjunct Assistant Professor, New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, will discuss how reproductive rights are civil and human rights issues.

Polarizing political views have continued to oppress Black women and their access to reproductive services and justice. This presentation will briefly examine the policing of Black female bodies and health inequities. We will also explore the structural intersections of racism and reproductive oppression Black women face.
