Event Description
Acceptable donations include: dental floss, baby wipes, sunscreen, lip balm, q-tips, deodorant, flavor packets for water, hot sauce, beef jerky, sunflower seeds, bagged tuna, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, protein bars, granola bars, sweat socks, body wash, scented soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, peanut butter, candy, nuts, cookies, snackcakes, chewing gum, hard candy, handwritten notes, coloring books and coloring pens/pencils, moist travel wipes, travel size board games and cards, baby powder, stationary and pens, paracord bracelets, and books.
Bring your items to one of the following locations by Wednesday, December 1st at noon:
- Drexel Central, First Floor, Main Building
- Drexel University Dept. of Public Safety, 3201 Arch Street , Suite 350
- Office of Veteran Student Services, Creese 048
- Office of Residential Living ( Towers, Bentley, and Millennium)
Join us at the Recreation Center Lobby on Friday, December 3rd from 10am–12pm to pack the boxes with donated items or write thank you notes and cards to our service members.
"Adopt A Box"
Pick up a USPS authorized box from Jane Kelly at Public Safety, fill it and make arrangements to drop off on December 3rd or to Public Safety ahead of time. Pleasecontact Jane Kelly (jbk53@drexel.edu) to make arrangements. |
