Tech Talk: Parallel Programming with CUDA

Event Description
The talk will describe the rise of multi-core processors. Using code examples, we will then discuss how algorithms are developed using the CUDA programming interface for massively parallel processors such as the graphics processing unit (GPU). Case studies showing how GPUs are being used to accelerate algorithms in deep learning, medical imaging, and numerical simulation, will be presented.
