The College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) at Drexel University is proud to present a special event in honor of Black History Month:

"The Boundless Experience: Navigating Change with Resilience"

Join us to celebrate Black History Month and embark on an inspiring journey with Drexel alumna and author Blessing Adogame, BS information systems ‘21.

Adogame will discuss her debut book, Bound to be Boundless: The Journey of a Third-Culture Kid. Hear captivating stories from Blessing and other trailblazing young alums, including:

  • Nneoma Nzeduru (BS biomedical engineering ‘20)
  • David Nana Dwomoh Sarpong (BS information systems ‘23)
  • Ousman Joof (BA entrepreneurship and innovation ‘19)

The event will include a Q&A with the author and alumni panel discussion, followed by a networking reception with light refreshments and swag, as well as an opportunity to get your book signed by the author.

About the Speakers:

Blessing Adogame, BS '21 is a dynamic global citizen and Drexel alumnawith a solid foundation in the tech industry, having previously worked at Microsoft. Raised in diverse cultures across Nigeria, Germany, Scotland, and the United States, she possesses a unique perspective that fuels her dedication to empowering individuals from all walks of life. With a profound appreciation for education, Blessing continues to inspire others, using technology as a force for positive change. Bound to Be Boundless explores how the very things that keep us restrained can also set us free. Her personal stories as a young global citizen (Nigeria, Germany, Scotland, US, England) traveling through the storms of life examine the resilience, resourcefulness, and relationships it takes to embrace who you are amidst great challenges. This is a literary gem that explores the human's boundless potential for growth, resilience, and transformation. With poetic prose and profound storytelling, the book weaves together a tapestry of interconnected stories, each one a reflection of the universal human experience. Her journey will inspire you, move you, and remind you that even in the face of adversity, we are boundless in our capacity to dream, create and love.

Nneoma Nzeduru, BS '20 is a proud Nigerian-American who navigated her formative years between the US and Nigeria before establishing her current residence in the US. As the founder of The Med to Be, she is dedicated to empowering black health professionals and advancing health education. Nneoma holds a Bachelor’s degree in from Drexel University and a Master’s degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to her contributions to healthcare, she also makes her mark as a model, collaborating with renowned brands such as MAC Cosmetics, Ulta, Fabletics, Reebok, and Refinery 29.

David Nana Dwomoh Sarpong, BS ‘23 obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a minor in Data Science, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience at CCI. David recently began a digital creation journey on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. As a London born, Ghanaian bred Christian studying in the United States, he realized he had a unique view of the world, formed by an amalgam of his experiences and tastes. These tastes include poetry, music, technology, digital and traditional art, cinematography, athletics, philosophy and theology.

Ousman Joof, BA ‘19 is a dynamic and driven marketing and sales professional. His journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with minors in Marketing and Business Administration from Drexel University, which laid the foundation for his skills in market analysis and digital marketing strategies. He is a passionate professional in financial planning and analysis at Comcast Business.
