Event Description Drexel’s Department of Criminology and Justice Studies, in collaboration with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is proud to host a Reentry Simulation event. Attendees will experience a simulation designed to highlight the emotional and practical realities of reentry by completing various tasks that mirror the struggles faced by those recently released from incarceration.
These tasks include complying with probation terms, securing employment, attending treatment programs and managing finances, all within a set amount of time.This event provides an invaluable chance to learn not just the theories and statistics behind reentry, but to truly understand the lived experience of individuals navigating the complex challenges of reintegration.
