Event Description Citizens and urban planners unite in "Urban Strategy in the Present Tense," a year-long speaker series dedicated to the local roots of civic innovation.
From alleyway and open streets to families at the play in Dilworth and Sister Cities Parks, Center City is a hub of activity, connection, and evolving possibilities.
Join Prema Katari Gupta in conversation with Patrick Morgan as they explore the narrative of Center City as a place to live, work, and play. They’ll explore strategies to sustain its retail and office recovery, alongside opportunities to foster a more inclusive and vibrant public realm. Together, they’ll unpack and imagine a human-centered downtown that serves as a civic living room, business incubator, and cultural playground, where walkability fuels commerce, culture, and conversation.

The series is produced by the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation at Drexel University in partnership with the Urban Strategy Masters Program in Drexel's Westphal College of Media, Arts & Design. Andrew Zitcer hosts the webinar. Thomas Devaney produces the series with production director Hazel Dequito. |
