Event Description

Janelle Edwards, MPH, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) Doctoral Student, will present "Implications of Redlining Methods: A Systematic Review of Adverse Outcomes" at this EOH seminar.

Currently, there is an uptick in research using historical measures of divestment to explain modern-day health outcomes. Edwards will present a systematic review of redlining literature up until 2022 in order to characterize the locations studied, the measurements used to assess redlining, the conclusions that could be drawn, and make recommendations for best practices for future work.
