More about Nicole Renee
Yoga:
First introduced to yoga in high school, Nicole
participated in a Billy Blank's Tae Bo workout class followed by yoga and
meditation. This proved to be the perfect balance of synchronized aerobics and
stretching. She continued to practice yoga throughout her college years while
enrolled at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and that
practice became even more focused in the years that followed.
After nearly two decades of practice Nicole made
the decision to enroll in a yoga teacher training program so she could share
the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga with others. She initially
completed and Integrative Yogic Lifestyle Training in 2020, followed by a
program led by Marissa Nash of The Well Studio in Philadelphia, PA. Nicole went
on to receive her Advanced Teacher Training certificate, and today has over 300
hours of educational yoga and wellness training under her belt, including
principles of Yoga, Ayurveda, mantra, meditation & subtle body knowledge.
Nicole's classes incorporate creative sequencing
with poetic cues that focus on achieving proper alignment while linking breath
to movement. She aims to create an inviting space where beginners feel welcome
and advanced students feel challenged. Her love for music, nature and the cycle
of the seasons are incorporated into her classes.
