COVID-19 Guidelines for Attendees
The College of Medicine is taking measures to maintain community health and safety, and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Here are the measures that we must all observe at the Pennsylvania Convention Center:
- Masks are mandatory for all attendees of Discovery Day 2021.
- Masks can be removed briefly to eat or drink and only while seated or standing stationary at a table in designated areas.
- Food will be served in pre-packaged containers. Attendees may choose whether to eat on-site, while socially distanced, or take food off-site.
- Poster presentations will take place in a larger room with extended space between rows, and with fewer posters per board to allow for social distancing.
- Extra seating is available in the theater for the keynote and platform presentations to allow attendees to spread out.
- You should not attend in person if you are feeling ill, have been diagnosed with or tested positive for COVID-19, or have recently been in contact with others who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.
