Event Description This session will discuss in brief some of the major federally-funded individual fellowships supporting doctoral-level graduate study and research, outside of the well-known NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP). These awards provide one or more years of funding in the form of a scholarship and stipend. Awards discussed will include fellowships funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, and other major awards. We will also discuss how to research other awards available through the federal government.
In general, fellowships funded by the United States government restrict application to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or Permanent Residents. First and second year doctoral students, as well as those planning to start graduate school in 2022, are especially encouraged to attend.
Register on Zoom to attend. Events with no registrants 24 hours in advance will be cancelled. |
