Event Description

The Maternal and Child Health Program at Dornsife presents Tara Trego, MEd, Director, Bureau of Family Health, Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant Director.

 
Trego provides oversight for state and federally funded programs and services for infants, children, children with special health care needs, adolescents, pregnant people, and some adult healthcare programs in Pennsylvania. She also provides guidance for grants administered in the Bureau of Family Health, on topics such as lead poisoning prevention, Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, Sudden Unexpected Infant Death/Sudden Death, teen pregnancy prevention, and more.

During this webinar, Trego will discuss Title V Maternal and Child Health Services in Pennsylvania. An overview of Title V and the Title V state needs assessment process will also be provided.
