The 25th James Bond film is finally being released. To celebrate, we are delighted to bring back the expert on the real James Bond – Wright, Jim Wright.
Philadelphia native, writer, birder and real James Bond expert Jim Wright will take us through the fascinating life of 007’s namesake. Was the Academy’s one-time curator of ornithology a humble bird watcher or perhaps an international man of mystery himself?
Join us in person as Jim takes us on a journey through Bond’s life, with updated discoveries and newly named bird species since the initial release of The Real James Bond in early 2020.
Following the 30-minute presentation we will open the floor to questions from the live and virtual audiences. For those joining us in person, there will also be a variety of rare and unique Bond-themed specimens and artifacts on display. Copies of Jim Wright’s book The Real James Bond will be available for purchase at the event (cash only, please). A book signing will take place after the presentation.
Please note masks are required and seats are limited so we can maintain social distancing during the talk. For those who cannot join in person, we will also be live streaming the presentation via Zoom.
