Event Description

Join us for a discussion on the death penalty in 2020 led by Dean of the Kline School of Law, Daniel Filler. Before entering academia, Dean Filler served as a public defender with both the Bronx Defenders and the Defender Association of Philadelphia and has significant experience representing defendants facing the death penalty. He was appointed in 2012 by the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission to serve on the state’s Advisory Committee on Capital Punishment, where he chaired a subcommittee that focused on procedures in death penalty cases.
