Event Description
Pollinators like bees, butterflies and bats are a really important part of our community! Join us for a story time to explore these wonderful creatures and talk with the experts to learn what you can do to protect them. This event is developed for children and their families, but all are welcome to make positive changes for a healthier planet.

At the Academy of Natural Sciences, we believe that individual actions can truly make a difference. As part of our Small Actions Spark Big Changes initiative, each month of 2020 has featured a topic that guided our community in a conversation about everyday choices that affect the health of our environment.
This December, we are celebrating your efforts to create change by hosting a series of practical workshops for individuals who wish to make a difference in their communities. Join us to learn more about actions such as starting a rain garden, protecting pollinators, becoming a community scientist and more.
