A talk by Brian Stuart, PhD, CCI Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science
Developed at the University of Illinois during the 1960s and '70s, the PLATO system was a major research project in Computer Aided Instruction. In this talk, Dr. Stuart will discuss a number of the innovations created as part of the project as well as its lasting influence on today's connected world.
Drexel's College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) is proud to present this special lecture in celebration of Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 6 to 10). CS Education Week is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
