Description: An Open Researcher and Contributor ID, or ORCID iD, is a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher. It is like a social security number for research—it follows you along even if you change your name or your institution and ensures that you get recognition for all your research contributions, including publications, grants, peer review, and even your thesis or dissertation. Did you know that some publishers even require you to register with the ORCID ID before you can submit your publication or signup as a peer reviewer?
During this webinar with Drexel's expert librarians, you will learn what an ORCID iD is and how you can create and curate your own profile, as well as tips and tricks for easily keeping your ORCID up to date as your research advances.
