End Date: 2/24/2021End Time: 5:00 PM

Event Description

Collaboration between engineers and social scientists is critical to making new devices. Such collaborations are challenging, humorous and fun, but most importantly lead to responsible innovation--one that leads to the creation of devices that make a difference in people's worlds.

Join members of Drexel’s College of Engineering and College of Arts and Science to discover how they are partnering in the development of the bellyband and babyband, two medical wearable monitoring devices. Applications of this technology include pregnancy monitoring, infant respiration monitoring, as well as sensing and treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
