Event Description

Every year, the Academy celebrates all things prehistoric during Paleopalooza, a two-day festival of fossils.

Free for members or with general admission. Save $2 when you purchase tickets online.

At Paleopalooza:

  • Get up close to rarely exhibited fossils from our Paleontology Collection
  • See an avian dinosaur (you might call it a bird) dissection
  • Enjoy presentations from real paleontologists
  • Take a guided tour of Dinosaur Hall
  • See fossils displays from the Delaware Valley Paleontological Society
