Drexel students and alumni are amongst the best candidates for amazing jobs and careers. Given the economy and competition, the need to stand out, as well as self-direct towards public and hidden job opportunities, is critical. In 8 minute intervals (6 breakouts total) through Zoom breakout rooms, learn from successful alumni who will share lessons learned, best practices, and how to overcome obstacles in a virtual round table setting to discuss topics including, but not limited to:
- Leveraging Alumni & Professional Group Networks – Purposeful contributions and thoughtful outreach to uncover leads.
- Preparing for Informational Meetings & Interviews – How to quickly get ready to learn, create referrals, and position for emerging opportunities.
- Engaging in Two-Way Interviews – How research and meaningful questions can lead to a higher rate of success.
- Following Up – How thoughtful Thank You notes and addressing open questions helps candidates stay at the forefront of consideration.
Whether you are a senior looking for a job after graduation, a student addressing upcoming co-op interviews, a recent graduate ready for the next career move, this session will provide access to alumni who have traveled the same journey and found success.
