Edward Hu: Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Senior Corporate Counsel (Product & Privacy) at Udemy
Edward Hu serves as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Senior Corporate Counsel (Product & Privacy) at Udemy, a massive open online course (MOOC) provider for individuals and organizations, where he works on all manner of issues relating to data privacy. Prior to his tenure at Udemy, he was the Senior Privacy Counsel and DPO at TrustArc, a privacy compliance SaaS provider. Edward has a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and holds CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, and CIPP/US certifications.

Foram is a privacy attorney at a premier law firm in San Francisco, CA. Her practice focuses on data privacy and compliance counseling for U.S. and global data protection laws. She services a variety of clients in all industries including technology, social media, fashion, food and beverage, and retail.

Andrew Scott: Global Privacy Manager at TrustArc
Andrew Scott is a CA-licensed attorney who lives in the Bay Area and loves to talk about privacy. He works for TrustArc as a Global Privacy Manager. In his current role, he evaluates companies’ privacy programs against external global privacy frameworks such as the GDPR, CCPA, APEC CBPR/PRP Systems, the Privacy Shield, and the EDAA/IAB Europe OBA Framework, and the EU Cloud Code of Conduct. In addition to evaluating privacy against these framework programs, he delivers assessment reports and creates remediation plans, and works with clients to help them achieve certification or validation. Additionally, Andrew helps the companies develop and implement privacy practices that may resolve clients’ cross-border privacy and data security compliance issues under the various regulatory regimes.
