Women in Diplomacy: A Conversation with Adva Vilchinski, Consul for Public Diplomacy

Event Description
Adva will talk about her personal journey in the advancement of women in diplomacy and advocacy as well as the role of diplomacy in negotiating humanitarian efforts in countries such as Israel and India. Participants will also be able to ask questions and reflect upon their experiences and the role of diplomacy in solving global challenges.
 
About the Presenter:
As Consul for Public Diplomacy, Adva Vilchinski is responsible for engagement with civil society across the consulate’s five state jurisdiction including: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Delaware. She also develops crucial relations with various leaders as a representative of the State of Israel. Appointed in summer 2019, Adva came to the Israeli Consulate from India where she had served her previous role as Political Advisor at the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi.
