Event Description
Please join us for an Information Session about our fantastic Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project! During the info session, we will explain the weekly, two-hour academic seminar in the fall semester (2 credits) attached to the Project as well as how to apply. If you are selected for Marshall-Brennan, you will be paired with another student to go into a Philadelphia high school to teach students during the year about their rights and responsibilities under the Constitution, while also getting your 50-hour pro bono requirement satisfied. The Project culminates with a local and national High School Moot Court Competition.
Neither prior teaching experience nor prior experience working with youth is required to participate. The main qualification is passion!
If you are unable to attend in person, the info session will be broadcast via Zoom (https://drexel.zoom.us/j/94140297775), as well as recorded. If you need access to the recording after the session is over, email eej23@drexel.edu.
Please note that 10 minute interviews for next year’s cohort will be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week following the info session on Wednesday. Interviews will not be held outside of these 3 days. How to sign-up for an interview will be explained during the session. |
