Applying An Antiracist Approach to Quantitative Research: Conceptualization, Datasets, & Analysis

Event Description

This student-led session will focus on approaches to antiracist research and include perspectives on how to apply antiracism to quantitative investigations.

This informal session will include opening remarks by:

  • Dr. Irene Headen (Assistant Professor, CHP)
  • Dr. Tran Huynh (Assistant Professor, EOH)
  • Dr. Reneé H. Moore (Research Professor, EpiBio and Director of the BSC)

Faculty will discuss ideas on how to apply antiracist principles to research based upon their own research and/or from the literature, offer suggestions/readings for students thinking of applying antiracist principles to their own research, and answer questions posed by students.

This series is sponsored by the Dornsife School of Public Health Research Office.
