Event Description It can be difficult to navigate when to say something, and when to not. It can be painful in many ways to not speak up, yet the push back from speaking can feel almost intolerable.
During this two-part workshop, we will look at a few ways to navigate life in our current climate. We will focus on finding ways to speak up clearly and directly. On how to have more confidence and clarity about when to say something and why, as well as when not to. We will explore finding ways to receive empathy and understanding when you are in distress. Part One “Compassion Fatigue” will be held in May 2021. It is recommended, but not required, that you attend both sessions.
During this session, we will explore:
1. Navigating conversations that are uncomfortable with people you want to stay in relationship with..
2. How to shift relationships that you may no longer want to participate in.
